About Us
Taunton Fire Protection Services was formed in 2000 by its proprietor, who, having served in the fire protection unit of Somerset Fire Brigade and in an independent company, decided to bring the values of service with a low cost to his own business.
Our services are supplied to schools both in the private and state sector, care homes, factories, offices, private landlords, housing associations as well as many businesses. Although based in Somerset, we have contracts throughout the South and South West.
Services provided include fire extinguisher maintenance and supply, fire alarm maintenance and installation and bespoke alarms to meet our customer specific requirements. We also provide a specialist service to the Fire and Rescue Services in the form of Electric Blanket Testing.
The company is ISO 9001 certified and BAFE registered and only employ BAFE registered technicians. Technicians regularly attend courses in order to keep them up to date with the latest of British standards.
You can be confident that our work is to the highest standard. Where required our certificates are acceptable to the enforcing and licensing Authorities.
